A Wonderful Stay at Best Western Abbots Barton Hotel: My partner and I had an incredible experience at the Best Western Abbots Barton Hotel, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. We were greeted by Mayur at the front desk, and he truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. His warm welcome and attention to detail made us feel right at home. Not only did Mayur make sure we were comfortable, but he also upgraded our room and even helped us extend our stay for an extra night, which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture. The room itself was spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean, making it the perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. The hotel’s location is fantastic, offering both a tranquil atmosphere and easy access to local attractions. The entire experience exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be returning next time we’re in the area. Thank you again, Mayur, for your exceptional hospitality!

A grand gothic style Victorian hotel set just on the outskirts of the city centre, just a 7/10 min walk away. Refreshing not to stay in a bland brand hotel. Parts have recently been refurbished. We stayed in an older section of the hotel which was completely comfortable and clean. It was interesting to see how our tastes in hotel decor have changed over the years! We were welcomed warmly with a Bonio dog treat at reception. The charming manager helped us throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent, a good selection on a fresh buffet with delicious local Kent apple juice. All hot items cooked to order. We stayed in a large family room with our spaniel who was able to eat with us at the bar. Great price, great service & breakfast all with a comfortable Britishness. We will be returning in the near future.

Friendly staff, good facilities and a BEAUTIFUL room (I had been upgraded as was staying alone over Christmas and with the lifts being out of service & a limited menu in the bar/restaurant due to a refurb, this goodwill gesture offered by the hotel in advance was much appreciated. The room was immaculate and so comfortable! Bathroom was amazing and the overall look and feel of the suite was modern and relaxing. Bar staff, reception staff and cleaners moving about the hotel were all lovely and friendly. I felt very welcome and will definitely stay again! Thank you!

The staff at the front desk were all so friendly and helpful, even stopping to provide us with some location information and recommendations as we had never visited Canterbury before. The room had been recently refurbished to a high standard and the location was just a short walk into the town centre. The toiletries in the bathroom were also lovely. The room had more features than expected - we loved the speakers in the bathroom!

Included local apple juice and fresh fruit salad. Newly decorated reception and bar area very inviting, but sadly no time to use it. Set back off the main road so no disturbance from traffic. Just 15 mins walk to the Cathedral. Will certainly use again.
